This happened to my console as well. All you need to do is use a can of air to blow out most of the dust that is inside of your console. I recently turned on my Xbox and every time I boot it up it gets to the first loading screen before the dashboard comes up. It doesn't do this when I take out the hard drive so I'm pretty sure it has something to do with that. Please help if you can. Edit: My Xbox started working this morning. j2vC.
